Drumming  lessons

We offer both advanced and beginner Drumming and Music  lessons, 
Drums are most loved instrument and fun to play, We run Drumming and Music Workshops in schools, private parties, festivals and other venues. Our drumming program will teach and entertain kids and adults of all ages. Whether you are 7 or 80 years old, you can learn at once and with fun how to play hand drums and some of my north-African rhythms. You will also learn about my background music and about the traditional instruments that we use in Algeria, Morocco and North Africa such as Bendir, Derbouka, Qrakeb,  Tambourine, Djembe … Drums help you to relax, to be creative, to learn about other cultures, and to understand the music and the art of improvisation.

Abdelkader  Saadoun

Algerian-born Abdelkader Saadoun is a renowned master of RAI music – which originates from traditional Algerian and world music (Chaabi, Kabil, Gnawa and Andalusian) and also encompasses Pop, Flamenco, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Fusion, and Blues. Mr Saadoun is a composer, singer, song writer, educator, plays oud, mandola, percussion and drums. A formidable band leader with a great track record in bringing together musicians from diverse cultures to create dynamic live gigs which combine these different musical styles to extraordinary effect.He has worked in different schools as a drum teacher for more than 18 years. And has also organised different art and music events all around the UK. Mr Saadoun has released several albums, and he, together with his band Takaleed, took part in the filming of the latest Harrison Ford movie  from June 2023 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'. He has had the honour of performing  for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and The Amir Of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al – Thani, His Majesty the Prince and Her Majesty the Princess Darenberg of Austria, Madonna and other celebrities. Also appeared on TV shows, radio stations and collaborated with other great musicians around the world. Saadoun has performed with Airto Moreira, Hossam Ramzy, Rabah Khalfa, London BBC Orchestra, Grand Union Orchestra and the Master Drummers of Africa. As well as performing with his own Rai band at Womad main stage, other major music festivals in the UK, around the world and shared the stage with Maxi Priest, INXS, Gloria Gaynor and many more.

We also have drummers, Zaffa ( zourna) dancers and DJ with sound equipment and fully insured.

Early childhood music education

Music lessons help children practise more than just their instruments. By playing music together, they learn about discipline, commitment and teamwork, developing into responsible and confident young adults.

Become a supporter

Help support our work so that we can continue educating children and teens. Your donation will give us a chance to work with children from less privileged backgrounds giving them the support they deserve.

Summer courses

During the summer, we offer a music camp for children from 7 to 14 years of age. In addition to individual lessons, the children will learn the basics of music theory and have the opportunity to play together.

Our mission is to promote live music, North African and World Music, support and spread music education within the community and schools; entertain and help other students; share our talent of many years of experience performing and teaching music around the world; working with top artists, promoters and producers.
